He was predeceased by : his father Stephen H. Otis. He is survived by : his mother Dorothy Otis (Slaughter); his sisters, Elizabeth Henning (Joe) and Jennifer Hoeske (Bill); his nieces and nephews, Ryan Carr (Darcey), Stephanie Fanthorpe (Dave), Ben Henning (Tessa McClain), Trae Hoeske (Lauren Kratochwill), Jesse Henning (Sarah) and Lynsey Hoeske (Blake Jacobs); and his aunts and uncles, Jeanne Schaefer (Jim), Midge Wagner and Kurt Slaughter (Jan).

Memorials may be made in Steve's name to any Marengo Sports Organizations.
