William I. Godfrey Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 17, 2022 we had to say goodbye to William I. Godfrey of Marengo, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, William E. Godfrey and Genevieve Godfrey (Vahrenwald); his wife Marilyn Gunderman; his children, Terrence (Kimberly Biehl), Lawrence Godfrey (Peg) and Elizabeth Larson (Rodger); his grandchildren, William (Jane O'Brien) and Amanda Truelove (Casey); his great grandchildren, Miriam, Catherine, John Henry, Lucy Truelove and Alder Godfrey; and his brother Alan Godfrey.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or Salvation Army.
