She was predeceased by: her parents, Orval Hart and Minnie Hart (Choate); her husband Ben Witters; her brother Jessie Hart; and her grandmother Linda Choate.

She is survived by: her siblings, Mary Barnes of Elkville, Imogene Bjorklund of Dyer, IN, Jerry Hart of West Frankfort and Orval Andy Hart of Buckner. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
