It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laura Dawn Edwards of Marseilles, Illinois, born in Ottawa, Illinois, who passed away on December 7, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Marco and Florence Marco (Taylor); her husband Kenneth Edwards of Marseilles; her brothers, Joe, John and Larry Marco; and her granddaughter Marissa Alvarado.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cindy Underwood (Barry) of Marseilles, Linda Alvarado of New Lenox and Ruth Shutty (Denny) of Los Angeles, CA; and her grandchildren, Sarah Kastler (Kyle), Elizabeth Underwood, Jon Underwood (Megan), Nicholas, Christina, Benjamin Alvarado, Sage and Seth Shutty. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
Due to the pandemic and Covid-19 restrictions, funeral services will be private with Rev. Troy Tvrdik of First Baptist Church of Marseilles officiating.
