She was loved and cherished by many people including: her son Jeffrey Smith; her parents, Archibald Samuels and Loretta Samuels (McCormick); her husband Robert Smith; her daughters, Bobbye Crum (Lee) of Ottawa and Robyn Bennett (Michael) of Sycamore; her grandchildren, Ryan Crum (Jessica) of Ottawa and Stacey Crum (Brandon Carter) of Ottawa; her great grandchildren, Harper, McKenna and Lincoln; and her friends, Seattle Sutton, Sheila Womack, Doris Sobinsky, Ruthie Farrell and Jon Allen (Sue).
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Marseilles with Father Ghislain Inai officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family so that contributions can be evenly distributed between Pet Project and the Seattle Sutton Marseilles Museum.
