He was predeceased by: his parents, Roe Elbert and Effie Elizabeth Hutchens Davis; and his sisters, Naomi Lucille Phillips and Rosalie Richey. He is survived by: his wife Lila June; his children, Darrell Davis (Lisa) of Marshall and Cheryl L. Murdoch of Pelham, AL; and his grandchildren, Derek Davis (Tyler), Mindy Newbold (Brady), Bruce Murdoch (Kim), Logan Murdoch and Colton Murdoch. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
