J. Hays and Liam Black; his siblings, Pat McNeely of Stanford, KY, Mike Hays of Charleston, IL, Dianna Carr (Jeff) of Greenup, IL, Randy Hays of Greenup, IL, Jeff Hays (Cathy) of Kankakee, IL and Robert Hays (Laura) of Martinsville, IL; and his brother-in-law Albert McNeely. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
