He was predeceased by: his parents, James M. Daugherty and Gladys M. Gray Daugherty; his spouse Bobbie Lou Crabb; his daughter Sara Ellen Daugherty; his brother John Daugherty (Carolyn); his half-brother Max Gray; and his great grandchild Noah Ray Daugherty.
He is survived by: his sons, Tim Daugherty (Patsy) of Martinsville, IL, Tony Daugherty (Barb) of Marshall, IL, Eric Daugherty (Debbie) of Martinsville, IL and Bryan Daugherty (Sandy) of Marshall, IL; and his siblings, Jim Daugherty (Diana) of Metamora, IL and Mary Jane Claypool of Martinsville, IL. He is also survived by grandchildren and twenty four great grandchildren.
