With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phillip Bruce Reeds of Martinsville, Illinois, born in Paris, Illinois, who passed away on September 16, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Pierce Bennett Reeds and Vera Mae Reeds (Tyler); and his sister Dianne Stevenson (Reeds). He is survived by : his wife Diane L. Reeds (Hensiek) of Martinsville, IL; his children, Stephen Eric Reeds (Mary) of Sandy Hook, CT and Lori Reeds Waggoner (Bob) of Pinckneyville, IL; his grandchildren, Brenden Pierce Reeds, Kennedy Grace Reeds, Hallie Elyse Waggoner and Addison Kate Waggoner; his brothers, Donald Dean Reeds (Shirley) and Stanley Reeds (Jeanne) of Bethalto, IL; his brother-in-law David Hensiek (Jana) of Casey, IL; and his great-nephew Tyler. He is also survived by cousins, his church family and many friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 22nd 2023 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, September 23rd 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Casey United Methodist Church (703 IL-49, Casey, IL 62420, USA). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 23rd 2023 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
