She was predeceased by : her parents, Melvin Mathis and Thelma Roberta Mathis (Lane); and her brothers, Dennis and David Mathis. She is survived by : her boyfriend Dave Agers of Maryville; her daughter Carissa; her son-in-law Michael Dockery of Troy, Illinois; her grandchildren, Logan, Cayden, Aubree and Adalyn Dockery; her brother Kevin; her sister-in-law Neola Mathis of Dover, Tennessee; her sister Renee; her brother-in-law John Obenhaus of Granite City; and her brother Mark Mathis of Granite City. She is also survived by many nieces; nephews; other extended family and friends.

Memorials may be made to the Oasis Women's Center in Alton and may be accepted at the funeral chapel.
