We are sad to announce that on October 17, 2025, at the age of 96, Dominic Polczynski Jr. of Mascoutah, Illinois, born in DuBois, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dominic (Susan) and Polczynski, Sr.; his wife Edna; his granddaughter Tracey Polczynski; and his siblings, James Polczynski and Joan Nowak.
He is survived by: his children, Clifford Polczynski (Sandy) of Dubois, IL, Mark Polczynski (Karen) of New Athens, IL, Marlene Viner (Michael) of Belleville, IL, Lynn Polczynski of Woodriver, IL, Wayne Polczynski (Mimi) of Dubois, IL and Jolene Fischer (David) of Swansea, IL; his grandchildren, Bryan, Amber, Kristin (Danny), Lauren (Zach), Brandon (Amanda), John, Austin (Haley), Christin (Garrett), Andrew, Alicia (James), Cara (Trebor), Scott (Alexis), Samuel, David Jake (Kaleigh) and Lexi; and his great grandchildren, Evan, Delaney, Owen, Tessa, Avery, Dax, Porter, Brooks, Aurora, Zaylee, Liam, Henry, Leo and Drew. He is also survived by sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (6 N Alton St, Freeburg, IL 62243).
