He was predeceased by : his parents, Josiah David and Cora Estelle Pridgen (Kirkley); his siblings, Cora, Nicoll, Charles Alonzo Pridgen and Margaret L. (Dryer); his daughter Mary Margaret Cuffe (Pridgen); and his sons-in-law, James Cuffe and Robert Spellman.
He is survived by : his wife Janice Ruth (Weidner) of Orland Park; his children, Lenora A. Kessen (Mike) of Rochelle, IL, Edward P. Pridgen (Alix) of Overland Park, KS, Elaine S. Pridgen of Madison, WI, Carol J. Spellman of Orlando, FL and Barbara L. Kuempel (Mike) of Orland Park; and his grandchildren, Chris, Carrie, Cassie, Patrick, Joel, Ryan, Megan, Kevin, Connor and Corey. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
