She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Howes and Virgy Howes (Rogers); and her sisters, Ina Bost, Frieda Arthur and Ruth Himes.
She is survived by: her husband Gerald Hellman of Mattoon, Illinois; her sons, Terry Hellman, Darrell Hellman of Mattoon, Kevin Hellman (Lisa) of Trowbridge, Ronald Hellman (Michelle) of Charleston and Darren Hellman (Vickie) of Carterville, Illinois; and her brother Bill Howes of Ft. Collins, Colorado.. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; twenty eight great grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association.
