She is survived by: her husband John Proffitt of Mattoon, Illinois; her children, John Patrick Proffitt of Mattoon and Morgan Jasper Proffitt of Charleston, Illinois; and her siblings, Jim Kelly (Maudie) of Farmington, Tom Kelly (Linda) of Centennial, Colorado and Margaret Sohn (David) of Overland, Missouri. She is also survived by Several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
