He is survived by: his brother David Matheny (Linda) of Lerna; his children, Teri Benham (Greg) of Mattoon, IL, Richard Kendrick (Lisa) of Spring, TX, Julie Rich (Chad) of Mattoon, IL, Amethyst Koester (Dustin) of Sullivan, IL, Jade Crum (JJ) of Lovington, IL, Amanda Matheny of Mattoon, IL and Garrett Matheny (Kamery Crowder) of Tuscola, IL.; his grandchildren, AJ Benham (Meghan), Joey Benham, Rhiannon Douglas, Emlyn Rich, Regan Kendrick, Rylan Matheny, Kendra Gauna (Ezi), Melissa Hoenes (Casey), Matthew Benham, Maddix Crum, Owen Crum, Dawson Crum, Kayden Matheny, Liam Matheny, Garbriellah Koester, William Koester, Holly Fedie and Lexi Fedie; his children, Archer Sturlaugson, Wade Hoenes and Hazel Benham; and his pets, Zinger and Beethoven.
