He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Elizabeth Galtney; his children, Betty Galtney-Kennedy, Erin McSwine (Ken), Anita Abney (late Dwayne), Derrick Jefferson (Latonya), Keith Kotero and Christopher Burks; and his parents, Harold Galtney and Irene Sampson. He was also cherished by 11 grandchildren.
