He was predeceased by: his son Christopher Maple; his parents, Benjamin Haynes Sr. and Mary Haynes; and his brothers, George Maple, Larry Haynes and Benjamin "Juggy" Haynes.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl L. Maple; his daughter Sonja Maple; his grandchildren, Mario, Rheshad, Nadya and Mennoye Maple; his great grandchildren, Naziah, Zelyah, Rheshad, Jr., Laniya and Harley; his siblings, Gus Spann (Florence), Perry Maple (Beverly), Marty Haynes, Mary Haynes, Sandra Haynes, Hosea Haynes (Phyllis) and Steve Haynes (late Cassandra); his brothers-in-law, Eldon Jackson and Timothy Jackson; his cousins, Tam and Ron Cooper; and his friends, Raymond Doss and Host.
