He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Cavness and Margaret Bray Cavness; and his siblings, Pat Smith, Jane Cavness, Linda Harris, Donna Cavness, Kenny Cavness and Roger Cavness.
He is survived by: his close friend Willa Simmons of McClure, Illinois; and his siblings-in-law, Fran Cavness of Grand Tower, Illinois and Vernon Harris of Centralia, Illinois. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and special friends.
