We are sad to announce that on January 24, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Byron Smith of McConnell, Illinois, born in Monroe, Wisconsin. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Byron Smith and Mary Smith (Devlin); and his brother Ralph. He is survived by: his mother-in-law Rosemary Lolling; his wife Rosemary of McConnell; his children, Brian Smith (Connie) of Winnebago, IL and Brenda "Tootie" Fox (Michael) of Lena, IL; his grandchildren, Troy Smith (April), Nicole Olson (Jarod), Clay Smith, Erica Arnold (Justin Perry), Courtney Coutlhard (Adam) and Jena Patrick (Cole); and his stepgrandchildren, Ethan Bunger (Morgan) and Elayna Grasley. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
A public visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 30, 2020 at the Leamon Funeral Home in Lena, IL where masks will be required, and social distancing guidelines will be practiced.
A memorial has been established in his memory.
