He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Cross and Martha Cross (Shippy); and his siblings, Dale, Wayne and Keith.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Rupnow; his sons, Ron Cross of Freeport, IL and Robin Cross of Lena, IL; and his sister-in-law Charlotte Cross of McConnell. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
A memorial has been established in his memory.
