It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wesley Wessels of McConnell, Illinois, born in German Valley, Illinois, who passed away on January 2, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wessel Wessels and Selma Wessels (Splinter); his wife Donna Lehman; and his siblings, Anita Krahmer, John Wessels, Carol Nyreen and Mary Birkholz.
He is survived by: his children, Jim (Rhonda Wessels), Barbara (Dan Lowe-Long), Kathy (Mark Diffenderfer) and Mark Wessels of Orangeville; his grandchildren, Amy (Ray Baker), Jackie (Mike Duski), Kelli (Brad Pieper), Paul (Bethie Wessels), Colin Lowe, Chuck (Dawn Diffenderfer) and Heidi (Ryan Werhane); and his great grandchildren, Emma, Zachary, Leah Baker, Sophia, Alex, Ava Duski, Ryan, Addison, Olivia Pieper, Lucas Wessels, Maci, Brody Diffenderfer, Noah and Allie Werhane.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in his name.
