He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladys and Burtis Harlan Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Martha; his children, Stephanie R. Drakeley (Chris), Keith R. Harlan, Monica Turek (Chris), Gilberto Restrepo, Herman Restrepo (June) and Daniel Restrepo (Christine Betsill); and his siblings, Candice Wheeler (Bill), Debby Simon and Donna Feld. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren.
