She was predeceased by : her parents, Frank Como and Bridget Como (Angelo); and her husband Kenneth Schoenherr. She is survived by : her daughter Mary Schoenherr; her grandchildren, Kate, Emma, Amelia and Emerson; and her siblings, Jody Peters (Bob) and William Dowds.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Linda's name are suggested by the family to Animal Outreach Humane Society of McHenry County.
