He is survived by: his wife Donna; his children, David Olsen Jr. (Patty), Emily Booth (Joe), Colleen Olsen (Nick Malachuk) and Christine Olsen; his grandchildren, Elijah, Elizabeth, Esther Olsen, Cheyenne, Darren, Kelsey Cleveland, Jacob, Jeremy, Joshua, Kayley Booth, Delaney Olsen, Maddux and Kate Malachuk; his pets, Red, Bert and Dunkin Donuts; and his close friends, Dean and Beth Molburg.
