He was predeceased by: his parents, Valentine Lungwitz and Iva Lungwitz (Taylor); his son Michael; and his siblings, Pete, Jack and Nancy.
He is survived by: his former wife Elizabeth Van Nest; his wife Beth Lungwitz; his children, Jane Batchen of Lincolnshire, Mark Lungwitz (Tracey Hall) of Tampa, FL, Julie Goodman (Mike) of Mundelein and Jennifer Werner (Paul) of Lawrence, KS; and his grandchildren, Emily Ludlow (Eric), Matt Johnson, Eric Goodman (Tiffany), Elizabeth Goodman, Chez Gaspercic, Ananda Lungwitz (Kameron Luyt), Gray Werner and Jillian Werner. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
