It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fredric Dean Hamilton of McHenry, Illinois, born in West Point, Nebraska, who passed away on April 13, 2021, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank J. Hamilton and Mabel Hamilton (Cart); his wife Irene Wilcox; and his siblings, Kenneth and Lenora.
He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Hamilton of New York, Mike Hamilton (Linda) of Illinois, Bruce Hamilton of Tennessee and Sheila Powers (James) of Illinois; his grandchildren, Gina Duman (Adam), Eric Hamilton (Amanda) and Jeffrey Hamilton (Megan); his great grandchildren, Elena, Emmett, Dean, Ava and Charlie; and his sister Beryl Knotwell of Nebraska.
In accordance with public gathering restrictions, attendees are expected to wear a mask and observe social distancing.
