It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Kammerer Jr. of McHenry, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on October 26, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Kammerer and Magdalene Kammerer; and his wife Joyce Magoon. He is survived by: his children, Gail Van Kanegan, Guy Kammerer (Kathy), Glory Romano (Lee), Gregory Kammerer (Cindy) and Gerri Lunde (Steven); his grandchildren, Timothy Van Kanegan, Michael Van Kanegan, Stacia Riffe, Lucas Kammerer, Wayne Hitt, Maxwell Lunde and Samuel Lunde; his great grandchildren, Indira Van Kanegan, Maya Van Kanegan, Neela Van Kanegan, Gavin Van Kanegan, Emmett Riffe, Ella Riffe, Sarah Mathews and Wayne Hitt Jr.; and his sister Mary Lou Evett.
