He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, J. Ralph Alfus and Marie Alfus (Kirwan); his wife Carol Roese; his children, Michael, Claire Alfus and Mike Alfus (Reshma); his granddaughters, Aria and Riley Alfus; and his siblings, Mary Alfus, Dan Alfus (Carolyn), Tim Alfus (Sharon) and Patty McLaughlin (Jim). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
