He was predeceased by: his wife Joan Adams (Kurz); his parents, Mathias Adams and Dorothy Adams (Bauer); his children, William Adams and Jane; and his grandson Lucas.
He is survived by: his sons, James Jr. Adams (Lolly Meyer), Dennis Adams (Kathy) and Christopher Adams (Kristy); and his siblings, Daniel Adams (Joyce) and Nancy Willis (James). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
