He is survived by: his wife Karen (Sauerland); his children, Deborah Melchert and Jim Gordon Jr. (Gina); his brothers, Thomas Gordon II (Joan), Bill Gordon (Hong), Jack Gordon and Brian Gordon (Jeannie); his grandchildren, Joseph Wydra (Julia), Tyler Wydra (Katie), Alex Wydra, Kiara Melchert, Frankie Melchert, Katrina Ryan (Sean), James Gordon III (Brianda), Joshua Gordon and Eric Gordon; and his great grandchildren, Maverick Wydra, Finnigan Ryan and Marcus Wydra. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
