He is survived by: his wife Susan Mattes; his children, Kim Ruiz (Adam) and Jim; and his grandchildren, Emilie Hall (James), Jake Ruzicka (Alena) and Dakota Ruiz. He is also survived by sister-in-law, a brother-in-law, an Aunt, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
