He was predeceased by: his father John Lanway, Sr.; and his sister Karen Whitney. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Lanway; his mother Jacqueline Buenzli (Samuel); his son Jarrett Lanway; his siblings, Lisa Soberg (Jerry), Michele Baker (Ron Pedretti) and Lance Lanway (Tara); his stepbrothers, Jimmy, Randy and Bobby Buenzli; and his mother-in-law Barbara Munson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
