It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Myrtha Celifie (McHenry, Illinois), who passed away on April 19, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Celifie and Mariella Celifie; her brothers, Guy, Gerard Celifie, Andre Juste and Andre Lamothe; her children, Frederick Juste and Nixon Lamothe; and her great grandchild Justin Desmangles.
She is survived by: her children, V. Pearl Schnur (Brian Miller), William Juste (Jessy), Camille Schwendener, Enide Denize (Rudolf), Lucie Bastami, Gary Juste (Corrine), Ernest Lamothe (Maryse) and Rudy Lamothe (Margareth); and her siblings, Ginette Riviere and George Celifie Jr.. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild.
Antoinette Claire) Myrtha Celifie, born on February 13, 1929, in Port-au-Prince, Haiti died peacefully to be with the Lord Jesus Christ at 9:00 AM on April 19, 2020, in hospice after a courageous battle with coronavirus at Northwestern Hospital, McHenry, IL, while surrounded by love from her family.
