She was predeceased by: her parents, John Emrich and Rose Emrich; her grandsons, Wren Thomas and Nicholas Thomas; and her brother John Emrich.

She is survived by: her spouse Weg Thomas; her children, Sean Thomas, Rob Thomas, Brett Thomas and Kelly Hawthorne; her grandchildren, Kendall, Mary Grace, Savannah, Katherine Thomas, Zoe, Nathan and Jonathan Hawthorne; her great grandchild Roan Natschke; and her sister Sally Pierce.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the First Congregational Church of Crystal Lake.
