He is survived by: his wife Vanessa Wentink; his children, Caryn O'Brien of Indianapolis, IN and Delon O'Brien (Julie Greene) of McHenry; his siblings, John O'Brien (Gail) of Glenview and Elizabeth O'Brien of Wilmette; his sister-in-law Charlotte Wooten (Rolfe) of Baytown, TX; and his nieces and nephews, Erik Weibust (Katie), Andrew Weibust (Olivia), Julie Cravey (Chris), Allison O'Brien (Jeremiah Holt), Katie O'Brien and Natalie O'Brien.
