She was predeceased by: her parents, LaVern Silverthorn and Hilda Silverthorn (Richards); her former husband Kenneth Patterson; her husband Robert Griffith; her brothers, Dale and Erwin Silverthorn; and her sisters-in-law, Francis and Elizabeth Silverthorn.
She is survived by: her daughter Lisa Kivley (Lowell); her grandchildren, Erin Timlick (Josh), Nathan Kivley (Rachel), Jonathan Kivley (Shyann), Sharon Didier (Jonathan), Mark Kivley, Courtney Cox, Tanner Cox and David Cappitelli; her great grandchildren, Anna, Caleb, Micah, Eden Timlick, Emmalyn, Kaden, Savannah, Moriah Kivley, Zaccai, Judea, Israel Kivley and Luna Cappitelli; and also Lori Cox (Kevin). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ginny's memory to the Evangelical Free Church of McHenry.
