We are sad to announce that on October 30, 2019, at the age of 91, Lee Avery (Media, Illinois) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lee Avery to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Joe Avery and Nellie Wolford Avery; his wife Frances "Lottie" Rettig; and his siblings, Helen Hobby, Eldon, Donald, Kenneth, Charles and Larry Avery.

He is survived by : his children, Connie Kraft (Darrell) of LaHarpe, IL, Dianna Duncan (Mike) of Media, IL, Neal Avery (Patti) of Media and Sheldon Avery (Diane) of Glenburn, ND; and his sister Shirley Furniss (Kendall) of Media. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, twelve great great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be given to the M.S.T. Fire Department of Media, Illinois.
