With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kerry Prather of Medora, Illinois, who passed away on November 2, 2020 at the age of 75. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Kerry Prather to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by : his wife Juanita Kay Shanks; his parents-in-law, Ira and Leona Shanks; his siblings, Dale, Luther Pete Prather, Bertha Bennett and Doris Warner Lamers; and his brothers-in-law, Melvin Bennett and William Lamers.
He is survived by : his children, Kristie Baumgartner (Steven) of Brighton and Kent Prather of Shipman; his grandchildren, Collin and Sydney Baumgartner of Brighton; his brother Ronald Prather of North Carolina; his siblings-in-law, Don Shanks of Utah, Barbara Prather of North Carolina, Iola Prather of Kemper, Ruth Prather of Godfrey, Betty Bennett of Medora and Vicki Shanks of Utah; and his close friend Charlene Morgan of Jerseyville. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions and sensitivities, a private family graveside service will be held Saturday, November 7, 2020, in Medora Cemetery.
