He was predeceased by : his parents, Len Hildebrand and Elsie Hildebrand (Blickhan); his brother Alvin Hildebrand; his brothers-in-law, Carl Aschemann and Darrell Kindhart; and his nephew Bradley Hildebrand.

He is survived by : his wife Dory Hildebrand of Mendon; his children, Greg Hildebrand (Tammy) of Mendon and Chrissy Lerch (Gary); his grandchildren, Jordan Hildebrand and Chase Hildebrand (Jacqueline); his great grandchild Adeline Hildebrand; his siblings, Paul Hildebrand (Norma), Philip Hildebrand (Jeannie), David Hildebrand (Mary Ann), Margie Venvertloh (Gene), Edie Aschemann, Carolyn Ankrom (Jim) and Peggy Kindhart; and his sister-in-law Marilyn Hildebrand. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to St. Edward the Confessor Catholic Church or to the American Red Cross.
