He was predeceased by: his son Dan Matz (Sharon). He is survived by: his children, Cherie Easler (Toby), Roben Woodward (Randy), Jennifer Benac (Jeff) and Todd Matz (Monica); and his grandchildren, Nathaniel, Elizabeth Easler, Trace, Hunter, Makayla Woodward, Jacob, Joshua, Hannah Benac, George, Trevor Gavitt and Wesley Matz.
Due to Covid, the family is not having a public service.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the Mokena Lions Club, or you can contact a family member for a local charity near you.
