We are sad to announce that on July 21, 2019, at the age of 78, Dwight Heckert (Mendota, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Heckert and Esther Heckert (Runge). He is survived by: his wife Tess of Mendota; his daughters, Amy Brewer (Dave) of Mendota and Laura Schmidt (Brian) of Littleton; his grandsons, Alex, Drew and Dillon; his brother Bob Heckert (Valeria); and his sister-in-law Juanita Heckert. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cure Alzheimer's Fund or First Presbyterian Church.
