It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George Fountain of Mendota, Illinois, born in Thomasville, Georgia, who passed away on February 14, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hoke Fountain and Pearl Fountain (Kirgan); his wife Judy Kowalski; his siblings, Hoke S. Fountain and Jean Hensley; his granddaughter Jennifer Terry; and his great grandchild Jennifer Cloe Terry.
He is survived by: his children, Laura Chapman of Texas, Debbie Terry (Tom) of Depue, Brenda Dobbs (Gary) of Stillman Valley, David Chapman (Luanne) of LaSalle and Melissa Collier (Robert) of Tennessee; and his sisters, Sarah Rodatz of North Carolina and Eleanor Ridge (Andy) of Mendota. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren.
