He was predeceased by: his parents, George E. Whitmore, and Bernice E. Whitmore, Jr. (Caponash); his wife Patricia A. Whitmore (Stillwell); and his sister Patricia A. Rod (Whitmore). He is survived by: his sons, Darryl G. Whitmore (Lisa) of Palatine, Illinois and Scott E. Whitmore (Cheryl) of Marysville, Washington; and his grandchildren, Joie Ocheltree (Aaron) of Bloomington, Illinois, Katherine N. Lawson (Ryan) of Washington, Grace Whitmore of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin and Eve M. Whitmore of Mount Prospect, Illinois. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
