It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Juanita Bernice Koonce of Mendota, Illinois, born in Vandalia, Illinois, who passed away on November 7, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Henry and Mildred Juanita Spicer (Keppler); her siblings, Norma Jean Keeling and Billie Jo; and her daughter-in-law Janet Koonce.
She is survived by: her husband Rev. Harold of Mendota; and her children, Devra Yeakel (Charles) of Mendota, Jana Trembly (James) of Mendota, Danny Koonce (Vicki) of Brownstown, Michael Koonce (Kay) of Vandalia and Rev. Timothy Koonce (Polly Ann) of Wapella. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.
