He was predeceased by: his parents, Rueben M. Ortega and Minnie C. Ortega (Orozco); his brother Reuben Aley Ortega, Jr.; and his daughter Andrea Jo Ortega (Lora). He is survived by: his wife Quana Ortega of Mendota; his sisters, Christine M. Ferrell of Hillsboro, TN. and Carmen A. Olsen (Steve) of Sheffield; his sons, Chet A. Ortega (Jessica) of Spring Valley, Jared L. Ortega of Mendota and Travis Ortega of Mendota; and his grandchildren, Andrea Mae Ortega, Neil Evan Ortega and Nicholas Favre Ortega.
