She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Riegel and Jean Riegel (Krenz); and her sister Nancy Lane. She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Swanlund; her children, Bradley Swanlund (Shelley) of Peru, Todd Swanlund (Diane) of Arlington Heights and Holly Hoffart (Michael) of Franklin, TN; her grandson Tyler Swanlund of Chicago; her sister-in-law Dixie Anderson (Gary) of LaMoille; and her pet Squeaks. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be directed to LaMoille Ambluance or Community United Methodist Church.
