He was predeceased by: his father James Leahy Sr.; and his sister Kathy. He is survived by: his spouse Cathy; his children, Chris Runkle (Scott), Dirk Leahy (Julie), Barton Leahy (Cheryl), Eric Leahy (Freedom), Chanel Doree and Ross Doree; his grandchildren, Paige, Brooke, Kyle, Brandon, Juliet, Bryson, Charlotte and Juniper; and his brother Jim Leahy (Linda).
