With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mercedes P. Morris (Midlothian, Illinois), who passed away on May 19, 2019 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Richard T. Morris; and her siblings, Robert LaCivita and Dorothy Mrozek (late Frank). She is survived by: her children, Melodi Kurzweil (James), Michele Sokolick (late Buddy) and Milissa Bell (Ed); and her grandchildren, Kevin Kurzweil (Tamara), Keith Kurzweil (Kay), Kurt Kurzweil (Sandi) and Kim Heinlein (Dan). She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The Humane Society.
