He is survived by: his children, Terry Geirnaeirt of Jacksonville, IL., Amy Kumlien of Roscoe, IL, Kyle Geirnaeirt (Jami) of Washington, IL and Gretchen Geirnaeirt of Milledgeville; his grandchildren, Megan, Rachel, Emily Kumlien, Grace, Lilly, Owen and Dane Geirnaeirt; his wife Janice M. VanNieuwenhuyse; and his sister Michele Wilson (Steve) of Bloomington, IL..
