With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dian L. Thom of Millstadt, Illinois, born in Belleville, Illinois, who passed away on November 7, 2020 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Harold F. Dill and Delphine E. "Del" Dill of Belleville, IL.. She is survived by : her husband Delmar D. Thom of Millstadt, IL; her children, Jennifer E. Burke and William H. Thom (Jenine); her nieces, Jody Bunch Caudle and Alison Bunch Richardson (Philip); her grandchildren, Kylie, Makenzie Burke and Joscelyn L. Thom; and her sister Wendy S. Welch (Ronald). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Memorial donations may be made in lieu of or in addition to flowers by personal check made out to her daughter, Jennifer Burke or through the dedicated Gofundme page (gf.me/u/y73s3f) so the family can build an academic scholarship in Dian's name, allowing her to continue her commitment to education even in rest.
